We went on a romantic weekend to Wilmington, NC. It was amazing. There are 2 beaches in driving distance from Wilmington and both are beautiful.

Wilmington would be great for a family vacation or a romantic getaway like ours. Wilmington is known for being the location that the "One Tree Hill" is filmed. We saw all the houses and places where the show was recorded.
