A wonderful place to visit on the Central Coast of CA halfway between LA and San Francisco is San Luis Obispo (SLO for short). A charming town - home to the university Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. One of my favorite things to do is to visit the Farmer's Market on Thursday nights. They have a great selection of fresh produce, entertainment and food.

It is fun to just walk around the quaint downtown area visiting the shops, babbling brook and the "bubblegum" wall. Two restaurants that I like are Firestones and Woodstocks Pizza - both are in downtown SLO.
