San Francisco Fairmont Hotel

I remember many years ago....my first San Francisco vacation. We were on Nob Hill, and decided to take a peak inside the Fairmont. I was so impressed and awed by the grandeur and beauty of this hotel. It definitely left an impression.

If you are celebrating a special occasion, such as a Honeymoon or Anniversary Weekend Getaway....or just planning a San Francisco Romantic Vacation...consider splurging at this historic hotel. You won't be disappointed. This is a San Francisco hotel with jacuzzi in one of their suites.

The setting on top of Nob Hill is spectacular, with a panoramic view of the city.

The location of the this hotel is convenient. It is at the junction of two San Francisco Cable Car lines, the Powell and California line.

It is in fairly close proximity to the San Francisco Financial District and Theater District. Also, check out the near-by Mark Hopkins Hotel with it's "Top of the Mark".

The lobby is elegant and exquisitely-appointed. The guest rooms are spacious and have recently been renovated. Try the updated rooms in the original building of the Hotel. Fairmont service is impeccable.

The rates for this hotel are quite high, as you can imagine. Try going during the winter when rates are lower. Also, they have a Bed and Breakfast package that is definitely worth checking out.

NOTE: Car parking is VERY EXPENSIVE at this hotel (and San Francisco, in general). Also, because of the very steep hills in this area, it is not a good location for those that have difficulty walking, strollers, high heels and so on.
